Want to learn more about the UK? Then you’ve come to the right place! You’re reading a blog by a true Brit (even if I’m embarrassed to admit it at times). I will cover everything, from where to visit across the country, what you need to know if you’re moving here and the secret locations that tourists won’t hear about.
So what do you need to know about our country? We have an old lady heading up the country under the name of Queenie, we are addicted football fans despite watching our team fail every 2 years and we do love a ruddy good cup of tea. Having said that, I’m pretty sure more people are drinking coffee over tea nowadays.
We’re known for creating some of the greatest music of all time (think Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks, Queen, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie (rest in peace you legend), The Clash, Radiohead, Oasis, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Duran Duran, Fleetwood Mac, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Coldplay, Adele, well the list seems endless so I’ll stop there). We brought football to the world (the one you kick with your feet) and we invented the world wide web and the telephone. You can also thank this little island for the introduction of chocolate bars, however you can also blame us for the global issue of diabetes.
I live in sunny (I wish) ol’ Brighton, based on the South coast, therefore you might notice a fair chunk of my articles being on this topic. In fact, don’t hesitate to send me an email if you have a question regarding a Brighton holiday. I’ve travelled all over, especially during my younger years, however there is still so much to see.
I will try to write guides on all the cities across the nation, but don’t hesitate to have a read on the existing ones, in Brighton, Cambridge, Eastbourne, London, Oxford, York and plenty more!
